Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Construction Spending Indicator (CSI) was 102.4% in December, 73.8% in November, 2010, in Azerbaijan. It was 146.3% in October, 223.8% in September, 106.6% in August, 55.7% in July, 111% in June, 159% in May, 169% - April, 83.7% - March, 160.6% - February and 34.3% - January, APA-Economics reported quoting the State Statistics Committee.

CSI is calculated as a comparison between the construction investment and previous monthâ€™s similar indicator. CSI characterizes the house construction and it is an indicator of personal incomes, buying ability and rate of economic development.
