Share of communication sector in GDP makes 1.9% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. The share of incomes, came from information-communication, post and communication sector in Azerbaijan during 2010, made 1.9% in GDP, 4.3% in non-oil GDP.

The enterprises under the Ministry have invested AZN 79.1 mln capital in 2011. In general, AZN 164 mln capital has been invested in this sector.

According to Ministryâ€™s calculations, mobile subscribers have increased by 17% to 9 111 thousand.

The number of broadband internet users made 1 366 650.
