Azerbaijan attends meeting of COMSTECH General Assembly in Islamabad

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Today, the 14th meeting of General Assembly of OIC’s Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation has started in Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, the meeting will last until January 13 and Azerbaijan will be represented by Minister Ali Abbasov. At the opening ceremony of General Assembly, Ali Abbasov will make a speech on state policy conducted in ICT, science, technology spheres, inform about projects on Regional Innovation Zones and Trans-Eurasia Information Super Highway.
Note that, the conference is headed by the current President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
Remind that, Azerbaijan is a member of COMSTECH Executive Committee.
