Bakuâ€™s development plan is made

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. Greater Baku Regional Development Plan has been started to be made. The Azerbaijani State Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning has started to select the advisor companies. According to Committee, these companies must conduct researches and draft proposals on strategic ecological assessment, competitiveness and local economic development strategy of Greater Baku, town-building and planning.

During the strategic ecological assessment, the influence on environment during fulfilment of GBRDP will be appraised, policy, institutional and management measures will be suggested for providence of town-building development of Greater Baku and projects ands plans on sectors will be offered. This also includes making of plans on using of Alat and Dubandi areas.

Within the, competitiveness and local economic development strategy of Greater Baku, itâ€™s designed to conduct detailed analytic researches and make Strategy and Activity Plan.

Town-building and planning works is designed to working out the Effective Planning System for Baku and Azerbaijan, including Institutional Development Plan for Baku Region.
