Kiev hosts meeting of working group on GUAMâ€™s IT

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The 3rd meeting of working group on GUAMâ€™s (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) Information Technologies was held in GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development, Kiev.

According to MCIT, representatives of relevant ministries and offices of GUAM-member countries attended the meeting. Azerbaijan was represented by officials of MCIT.

According to results of meeting, decisions on systematic information on improvement of legislation covering IT sphere, statistical indexations, macro indexations and exchanging of information on implemented projects, offers on projects of formation strategy of single information place for GUAM-member states were adopted.

Besides, the participants decided to hold joint meetings on education of working groups on IT in GUAM member states.

Next meeting of working group on IT will be held at first-half of 2011.
