Presentation of strategic transport plan of Baku held

According to APA-Economics, Deputy Minister of Transport Musa Panahov headed the conference and representatives of Cabinet of Ministers, Ministries of Economic Development, Finance, Ecology and Natural Resources, Internal Affairs, State Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning, Executive Power of Baku City, Baku Metro, Azerbaijan Railways, World Bank, WSP Finland Ltd Company and Greeceâ€™s KLC Law Firm attended the conference.

Representatives of WSP Finland Ltd Company has held presentations on purposes of Strategic Transport Plan, future opportunities of transport for Baku, determining, assessment and investment projects of transport systems scripts, management of parking in the city, parking measures in intermodal terminals, development and employment of TransCad model.

At the same time, suggestions on future cooperation related to execution of strategic transport plan for Baku, including improvement of light-signal system related to employment of Intellectual Management System in Baku, improvement of parking policy, construction of stations for parking in the entrance of city and management of parking, establishment of technical service centres for improvement of service quality of public transport, purchase of employment of Paramix program for optimizing of city transport, purchase and installation of simulators for bus drivers and other issues were discussed at the conference.
