Baku â€“ APA-Economics. The Grandeur is one of Hyundaiâ€™s most successful designs, as the four-door sedan has been sold across the world and under different brand names, autoevolution reported.

While still an attractive car, the fourth generation that went into production in 2005 is starting to show its age. So the Korean automaker is working on a replacement that better follows the brandâ€™s new style.

In order to showcase its new design, Hyundai Motor Company today unveiled rendering images of its premium large sedan. The company has chosen to keep the Grandeur name for its sedan, as it signifies magnificence and greatness.

The fifth generation Grandeur was designed using the companyâ€™s `fluidic sculptureâ€™ philosophy that gives a feeling of refinement and dynamism. The car blends tradition and state-of-the-art technology in a seamless manner. Thus, the company is hoping to set new standards with its luxury sedans.

The lines of the car seem to flow well, especially from the side, the designers saying that they wanted to create the image of a bird that is gracefully soaring in the sky. At the front we can see Hyundaiâ€™s typical three blade grille that emphasizes the carâ€™s premium look. The car is also making its presence felt thanks to big wheels and large headlamps that go halfway up the hood.

The back of the car sports very unique styling, with double triangular exhausts inspired from Jaguar and a red strip joining the two stoplights together. Featuring a more distinctive look than the car it replaces, the new Grandeur is sure to set the standard in its class.
