BP-Azerbaijan: â€œMore 42 mln tons of oil will be extracted within the framework of Century’s Contractâ€

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. In January-October, 2010, 228 mln barrel or 30.8 mln tons of oil was produced from the fields of Centuryâ€™s Contract (Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field bloc). As the result, the daily production on these fields made 835.1 thousand barrel.

According to BP-Azerbaijan, itâ€™s planned to extract 42.1 mln tons of oil (daily 854 000 barrel) by the end of this year. The 90.9 thousand barrel of daily production will came from Chirag, 184.2 thousand from Central Azeri, 285.7 thousand from Western Azeri, 158.1 thousand from Eastern Azeri and 135.1 thousand from Deepwater Guneshli platforms.

Participants of ACG project have spent $ 270 mln operating costs and $ 1 149 mln Capital costs to the project, throughout the 9 months. Operating costs are expected to be reached 587 mln USD, capital costs to be reached 1 584 mln dollars, by the end of this year.
