Cargo carriage via sea transport decreases by 15% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. During first 10 months of this year volume of carriage via sea transport has been 9,4mln, and it is 14,7% small compared to previous year.

State Statistic Committee told APA-Economics that 2/3 part of cargo are oil cargo, 1/3 are dry cargo and all these carriage are realized via foreign relation.

8,6mln tons loading and off-loading was carried out in Januarty-October of the current year and theer was 24,9% increase in comarison with the same period of the previous year. Volume of transit cargo which comprise 87,6% of used item has increased by 21,2%, volume of import cargo had increased by 2,2 times, but volume of export cargo had decreased by 11,4%.
