According to APA-Economics, Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov informed that (re) construction of Baku Round Road was financed by Azerbaijani Government, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and Abu Dhabi Fund for Development. Realization of this project will connect the North-South international transport corridor with Great Silk Road. This will support to decrease the traffic jam, improvement of ecological situation of capital and other problems.
The project was implemented by contractor Makyolcopri Inshaat ve Taahhut A.S and subcontractor Azerinshaat LLC. Technical control was by Pan Arab Consulting Engineers Company.
