Azercell Telekomâ€™s president makes speech at annual conference of Legatum Center

Baku â€“ APA-Economics. On October 28-29, annual conference of Legatum Center was held in Media Lab of US Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Azercell Telekom told APA.

According to information the conference gathered entrepreneurs, investors, representatives and officials of non-commercial organizations from different countries of the world. The main purpose of conference was promotion of entrepreneurship and supports this sphere in the developing countries.

Annual conference started with the report of Professor Iqbal Z. Quadir, Founder and Director of Legatum Center. After this, the businessmen and investors made speech. Azerbaijan was represented by Azercell Telekomâ€™s president Ali Agan.

A.Agan spoke about Azerbaijanâ€™s telecommunication sector, its development dynamic and achievements.

Investments in developing countries, achievement in health, mobile, art and energy technologies and other topics were discussed at the panel meetings of conference. Near 350 participants attended the conference.
