Construction work increases 32% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Construction work was increased by 31.9% in Azerbaijan in the past nine months.

The State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics, new building, reconstruction and development took 73.65 of this work, 17.3% - capital repairs, 4.7% - current repairs, 4.4% - other construction work.

Public construction companies carried out 26.4% of the construction work, private companies â€“ 73.6%.

Average monthly nominal wage of the construction workers was AZN 502.2 in January-August, 2010, which exceed Last yearâ€™s relevant period by 12.1%. 62.6 thousands have been working in the construction facilities. The nominal wage of the large and mid-size construction workers was AZN 524.9. It has been increased 17.2% as against relevant period of last year.
