Akkord construct building in Afghanistan

According to head of press service of the company Afag Guliyeva Akkord constructs 17 buildings. These are depot-storehouse, workshop and hotels. The total area of buildings is 25 400 mÂ².

The construction works are conducted in the south of the country â€“ near of Mazar-i-Sharif city. Total area of construction works makes 72 000 mÂ². At the same time Akkord conducts the construction of Water Supply & Sewerage System, road and other infrastructure and power station. The construction works will be finish in March, 2011.

At the same time Akkord constructs 2 reservoirs in Afghanistan. One of them will be located in the area 200 km far from Mazar-i-Sharif, the other in the border with Iran.

Total cost of Akkordâ€™s projects is $ 170 mln. The company also intends to attend the construction tenders in Afghanistan, recently. These tenders will be held in Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif and the south of the country. Most of investment was allocated by World Bank.
