Twenty-one criminal cases have been initiated and three people have been arrested in Azerbaijan over open calls for terrorism after an armed assault on head of Ganja City Executive Authority Elmar Valiyev, law enforcement agencies told APA.
The necessary investigative and search operations are underway to identify other persons involved in the incidents in Ganja on July 10.
Azerbaijan’s law enforcement agencies also issued international arrests warrant for several people living abroad over open terrorist calls. Twenty-five people have been put on under administrative arrest for such illegal actions.
