Preliminary interrogation of Vagif Khachatryan, who was detained for the Meshali genocide, was held at the "Lachin" border crossing point, Ilgar Safarov, Senior Assistant to the prosecutor general on special assignments, said this in an interview with APA.
Ilgar Safarov said that after the detention of Vagif Khachatryan, he was initially examined and transferred to a medical facility.
"He was examined by doctors regarding his health. After the medical examination, he was provided with a lawyer and a translator. Charges against Vagif Khachatryan were announced and preliminary interrogation was held. Currently, other investigative measures are being taken in connection with him," he said.
