A mine incident occurred on February 14 in the basin of the Khachin River, passing through the previously unoccupied Ayag Garvand village area of the Aghdam district, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) said in a joint press conference, APA reports.
According to the information, Fayiq Mammadov, a resident of the Guzanly village in the Aghdam district, encountered an anti-personnel mine, which was likely brought by floodwaters, while driving a "Howo" brand truck. During the explosion, the left rear wheel of the truck was damaged, but no injuries were reported.
An investigation is being conducted by the Aghdam District Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
