A chain collision involving cargo and passenger vehicles occurred in Azerbaijan's Ujar, APA's local bureau reports.
The incident occurred on the Baku-Gazakh road in the Alpout village area of Ujar.
Two Opel cars, three KamAZ trucks, and one Mercedes collided while traveling in the direction of Baku, causing significant damage to the vehicles. As a result of the accident, a Tovuz resident, 1998-born Mahammad Ismayilov Nizami, was injured and taken to the Ujar District Central Hospital.
Preliminary reports suggest that foggy weather conditions caused the accident.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
