Russia provided incorrect information about the oxygen cylinder explosion on an AZAL aircraft in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan said, APA reports.
It was noted that at 10:53 local time, the flight controller at the dispatch center of the Flight Control Center deployed in Rostov announced that they had to make an emergency landing due to an oxygen cylinder explosion in the passenger cabin of the AZAL aircraft and the passengers losing consciousness, and requested resuscitation support:
"After receiving this information, all rescue services were put on alert," the statement added.
It was also mentioned that the information provided in the briefing regarding the chronology of events was based on the data received from the flight controller at the Flight Control Center in Rostov.
