The criminal trial of Ovagimyan Arutyun Yurikovich and Kazaryan Karen Ashotovich, military servicemen who are citizens of Armenia and are accused of violating the state border of Azerbaijan and of committing serious crimes, has today kicked off, APA reports.
It was noted in the survey data that Ovagimyan Arutyun Yurikovich was born in Armenia in 1989 and is on an overtime military service of sergeant in the military unit located in Gorus region. Karen Kazaryan was born in Armenia in 2004 and is a military serviceman who served in the military unit located in Gorus region.
Later in the process, the survey data of Eltun Sarkarli, Rza Allahverdiyev, Asif Babashov and Ibrahim Shikhlarov, who were identified as victims in the case, were clarified.
The victims are military personnel of the State Border Service. The judges then discussed the decision of the preparatory meeting.
During the consultation, the Armenians expressed their regret for their deeds.
The trial is set for July 5.
