The criminal cases against the separatist leaders of the so-called organization created after the occupation of the Garabagh region and other sovereign territories of Azerbaijan as a result of the military aggression of Armenia will be sent to the court in the near future, Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan told to the inquiry of APA's correspondent in Khankandi.
He said that the investigation of 15 people has already been completed.
"They are guaranteed all the rights according to the requirements of domestic laws and international conventions, they are provided with a lawyer and a translator. Currently, accused persons, lawyers and victims are currently familiarizing themselves with the criminal case materials. After the familiarization phase is over, the indictment will be sent to the court."
