The Secretary General of United Nations (UN) António Guterres will participate in the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Agreement on Climate Change, which will be held in Baku in November, the Secretary General told about this during interview with TASS Agency, APA reports.
“Yes, of course. I always attend the opening and closing ceremonies of COP summits. I hope that this conference will be an event where changes will take place. It is at this conference that we will realize that we are going to the abyss at the global level," said the general secretary.
It should be noted that the COP29 summit will be held in November this year.
