The trial of the criminal case on the "Meydan" TV case has begun, APA reports.
Today, the accused sat next to their lawyers in the trial held at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes, chaired by Judge Ayten Aliyeva.
Lawyer Zibeyda Sadygova filed a motion, requesting permission to film the trial, considering that it was of public interest.
The motion was not granted.
It was also reported that the disability pension card and the internally displaced person (IDP) card belonging to Aynur Elgunesh have not been returned by the preliminary investigation. In this regard, a motion was filed requesting that an inquiry be sent to the investigative authority handling the case. The court granted the motion and stated that an official request would be sent to the investigative body.
After that, the process continued with the beginning of the announcement of the indictment.
The next trial is scheduled for January 16.
