Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited Armenian citizens who have recently been detained, Ilaha Huseynova, head of the Public Relations Department of the ICRC Baku Office told APA.
"At the end of June and beginning of July, the ICRC representatives again visited all the conflict-related Armenian detainees notified by the Azerbaijani authorities. The detainees were met in private and were given the possibility to exchange family news. According to its mandate, the ICRC assesses their treatment and conditions of detention and helps to ensure that these individuals are able to maintain contact with their families," she said.
