Five family members have been poisoned by carbon monoxide in Azerbaijan's Gakh district, APA’s northwest bureau reports.
The incident occurred yesterday evening in Lekit village of the district. Vagif Suleymanov, born in 1986, his wife Royana Suleymanova, born in 1988, and their 15, 13, and 7-year-old children were admitted to Gakh District Central Hospital with symptoms of poisoning.
It was revealed that they were poisoned by carbon monoxide emitted from a power generator in their home. The poisoned individuals received the necessary medical assistance and were discharged from the hospital today.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
