The fire that originated near the village of Tekya in Azerbaijan's Shabran region, within an area characterized by complex terrain, has been brought under control, APA's Northern bureau reports.
In connection with the incident, the forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and two helicopters from the Aviation Detachment were involved in the scene.
Currently, efforts are ongoing to extinguish the fire.

Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline received information about a fire in an area with complex terrain near the village of Tekya, Shabran region, the Ministry told APA.
In connection with the incident, the forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and two helicopters from the Aviation Detachment were involved in the scene.
Due to the operational measures taken, the fire has been successfully contained, preventing its spread towards the village.
However, the firefighting operation is facing challenges due to the windy weather in the area. Nevertheless, efforts to combat the fire are ongoing.
