A criminal case has been initiated regarding the violation of the state border of Azerbaijan in Kalbajar, the Press service of the General Prosecutor's Office told APA.
On August 16, an investigation has been conducted in the Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the violation of the state border of Azerbaijan by the propaganda-sabotage group of the Armenian Armed Forces in the section of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border passing through the territory of Kalbajar district.
The members of the propaganda-sabotage group were detained by the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the tools and means of crime were taken from him.
The General Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case under Articles 206.3.2, 214.2.1, 214.2.3, 228.2.1, 283.2.1 and 318.2 of the Criminal Code, and the preliminary investigation was entrusted to the Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office.
At the moment, urgent and necessary investigative measures are being carried out by the investigation team established for the criminal case.
