The body of a Jalilabad district resident who died in the Russia-Ukraine war has been brought to Azerbaijan, APA's southern bureau reports.
Hijran Amanov, born in 1999, had been living in Kazan, Russia. He was arrested there and later sent to the frontline following a corresponding decision. Amanov, who was serving in the ranks of the Russian army, was wounded at the front and died at the end of last year.
His body was recently recovered from the battlefield, and necessary procedures were carried out for its transfer to his family. Amanov will be laid to rest today in his native village of Shatirli.
Note that Amanov was married and had one child.
