A court hearing has been held on the appeal filed against the verdict issued against Miradalat Talishkhanov, who is accused of making open calls against the state, APA reports.
Adecision was adopted at the hearing held at the Baku Court of Appeal, presided over by Judge Afgan Alakbarov.
According to the decision, the verdict was left unchanged.
Recall that under the verdict of the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, Miradalat Talishkhanov was sentenced to six years of imprisonment.
Note that Miradalat Talishkhanov was detained by the State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
Charges were brought against Miradalat Talishkhanov under Articles 32.4 and 281.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (incitement to making open calls against the state, including when the same acts are committed repeatedly or by a group of persons). It is known that he previously worked in law enforcement agencies.
