A decision has been made regarding a group of people detained for hooliganism during a traffic accident in the Imishli district on January 18, APA reports.
The investigation authorities have submitted a presentation to the court regarding the detained individuals.
The Imishli District Court has reviewed the submission from the investigation authorities.
The 14 individuals detained have been remanded in custody for a period of 3 months.
Note that on January 18, around 12:30 PM, a fatal road accident occurred in the city of Imishli, on Abbasgulu Shadlinsky Street, involving a State Traffic Police (DYP) vehicle. As the DYP vehicle was on its way to service, another vehicle entered its path, causing the police car to hit children standing on the roadside. As a result of the accident, two schoolchildren were killed, while one schoolchild and the driver of the DYP vehicle were injured.
