A man born in 2000 who was injured as a result of a landmine explosion that occurred at around 10:30 today in the village of Mukhtar in the Khojaly district has been hospitalized at the Khankendi City Central Hospital, TABIB said in response to APA’s inquiry.
The patient was evacuated to the Barda District Central Hospital to receive specialized medical care.
He was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to various parts of the body and was provided with the necessary medical assistance.
The condition of the individual, assessed as moderately severe, is being treated in the relevant department.

On February 18, a mine incident occurred in the territory of Mukhtar village of Khojaly district, which was liberated from occupation, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) said in a statement, APA reports.
An employee of the Agency, Vasif Fizuli Chobanov, born in 2000, triggered an anti-personnel mine explosion while performing his official duties.
As a result of the incident, the employee sustained various injuries to his left hand and facial area.
Vasif Chobanov was evacuated to the central district hospital. His condition is satisfactory and there is no threat to his life.
