Derbend Azerbaijanis wantâ€? Derbendâ€? newspaperâ€™s publishing in Latin

â€œDerbendâ€? socio-political newspaper founded by Dagestan Republic and government Is still being published in Krill graphic. Derbend Azerbaijanis are not pleased with it and want the newspaper to be published in Latin, Azerbaijan community in Derbend told APAâ€™s Dagestan bureau.
The text books for Azerbaijani schools in Derbend are in Krill graphic. The Azerbaijani youth in Derbend do not know krill graphic. That is why a newspaper in krill graphic will not be a success. Derbend resident Rashad Ocaqov said that Azerbaijan and Dagestan must deal with this problem. He also said that Azerbaijanis in Derbend need Azeri Literature. The editor-in-chief ofâ€? Derbend â€œnewspaper Hadjimurad Alifkhanov said that there is no printing-house publishing in krill graphic.
â€?This influences the number of our readers,â€? he said.
Stressing that the newspaper needs professional journalists, he said that most subscribers are middle-aged and old./APA/
