One more military-industrial institution opened in Azerbaijan

The Head of State laid wreath on Haydar Aliyevâ€™s bust in the yard of the institution and cut the symbolic red ribbon of the administrative building.

The President acquainted himself with the Haydar Aliyev corner established inside the building. Dalgha SPI was established in 1936 and was one of the leading institutions of Soviet Unionâ€™s military-industrial complex. After the entering the Defense Industry Ministryâ€™s balance its revival began. Productive capacity and the number of workers increased.

President Aliyev got acquainted with products at the newly-reconstructed mechanical facility and watched the manufacturing process.

The Head of State also got acquainted with other spheres of the institution.

President Ilham Aliyev also attended the opening ceremony of the newly-reconstructed buildings of Iglim Scientific-Production Institution of the Defense Industry Ministry`s Sharg Production Association. The President was informed that Iglim Scientific-Production Institution had been functioning under Defense Industry Ministry since 2006. It has certificate meeting ISO 9001-2001 standards.

President Aliyev got acquainted with products and elements, watched manufacturing process.

Then the Head of State looked at shooting-range established at the institution.
