Baku. Aykhan Huseynov – APA. Father killed his son in Ganja city, Azerbaijan. APA’s west bureau reports that it happened in Ibrahim Aliyev street, 56. Kamal Jamal Najafov, 41, killed his son Suraj Najafov, 20, by a sporting gun. Suraj Najafov died on the spot.
Ganja police office told APA’s local bureau that Kamal Najafov was detained.
According to the initial reports, Kamal Najafov betrothed his daughter to the man whom his son did not like. The incident happened in the aftermath of the quarrel between the father and son.
Ganja prosecutor’s office has launched criminal case on the fact on article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway.
