Doku Umarov’s group claims responsibility for Nevsky Express train blast

The group said it committed the terrorist attack from the series of blow on the Russian strategic facilities. Mojaheeds said they committed the train blast on Doku Umarov’s order. “The train blasted by a special sabotage group and such actions will be continued until when the occupant forces will stop the killing of Caucasian peaceful Muslims for their religious faiths”, said the group.

More than 30 people were killed and 80 injured as a result of the terrorist attack.
Commanders of the Caucasian Mojaheeds said they tried to minimize losses among the peaceful population.

Earlier the nationalist group Combat 18 – Nevograd claimed the responsibility. The Russian law-enforcement is searching for several suspects, four of whom are the Caucasians. Russian vahhabit Pavel Kosolapov is one of the suspects. He has been wanted since 2007 for the train blast. The prosecutor’s office suspects Doku Umarov’s group for that terrorist attack.

At least 26 were killed and more than 80 injured in Nevsky Express train blast. 34-year old Azerbaijani national Babayev Novruz Babakishi, who is Russian citizen, was also injured during the blast.
