The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the five-storey hostel owned by a state enterprise, where internally displaced persons are living. Flammable parties of 120 sq m corridor, belongings collected in the 80 sq m area in the corridor and doors of the four flats on the same floor burnt. 60 residents were evacuated, the firefighters rescued 6 persons. The rescuers offered emergency medical aid to 2 persons and took necessary safety measures. The fire was extinguished at 06.33.
Short circuit supposedly caused the fire.
