Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Manager of the trade center of Masalli region Chingiz Hashimov was arrested for hooliganism, member of the parliament Ahad Abiyev told journalists, APA reports. He said the businessman was arrested together with his son on the fact of beaten, but the people beaten by them denied this fact.
The member of the parliament said 512 voters asked him to address this issue and he informed the law-enforcement organizations about the incident. Abiyev said Hashimov was a municipal candidate. “May be it is an attempt to create pre-election scandal. They are my voters. I would like that the issue to be investigated objectively. I guess if the issue is investigated objectively, innocence of the arrested persons would become clearâ€.
