Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. A worker of 28 May Oil and Gas Production Office became missing on the sea, prosecutor’s office of Azizbayov district of Baku told APA.
The prosecutor’s office said the incident took place on Thursday. Worker of the office, resident of Guba Faig Aliyev, 63 fell into the sea while working at the platform of the Oil and Gas Production Office at Gum Island. No one was in the territory during the incident. Rescuers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs arrived at site, but windy and rainy weather, as well as intense waves created problems in rescue operations.
Rescuers are continuing searches for Faig Aliyev’s body.
