Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Chairman of the Democracy and Human Rights Committee Chingiz Ganizadeh visited a hunger-striking family in Binagadi district of Baku, the human rights defender told APA. A week ago three women – Tanzila Mammadova, her 14-year old Aydan and Naila Mammadova went on hunger strike in a protest of arrest of their loved one. Baku First Medical Aid Station keeps the family under control. Doctors could make them avoid hunger-strike by three little children. Another member of the family Faig Mammadov had health problems during the strike and was hospitalized. The women said they wouldn’t stop the hunger-strike until release of Aydin Mammadov from jail. Ganizadeh said he informed the prosecutor’s office and other law-enforcement bodies of Baku.
Aydin Mammadov was sentenced by the court on November 11 for three months of imprisonment for property disputes with his sister.
