It happened in Khatai district yesterday. Tahir Bagirov, 46, knifed his wife Simuzer Bagirova, 44, to death. Later, Tahir Bagirov attempted to commit a suicide by cutting his throat. Bagirov was immediately hospitalized, the state of his health is satisfactory.
According to the initial investigations, the murder was committed because of jealousy.
Khatai district prosecutor’s office has launched criminal case on the fact on article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway.
