Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Yasamal district court has today held the preliminary hearing on the suit filed by Interior Minister Ramil Usubov against editor-in-chief of the Femida 007 newspaper Eyyub Karimov, APA reports. Khagani Tagiyev presided over the process. Karimov’s petition to reject the suit was not granted.
The hearing has been scheduled for November 26.
Interior Minister Ramil Usubov filed a suit against Eyyub Karimov on article 147.2 (the slander, which is connected with accusation of committing serious or especially serious crime) of the Criminal Code. Eyyub Karimov’s articles about the Interior Ministry published in the Azadlig and Femida 007 newspaper caused this.
