Currency exchange robbersâ€™ car found

Hasanov said sum of money robbed from the exchange was not known yet. He said police found a car, which robber used to escape from the site.

The deputy police chief said the injured man was not questioned yet because of his condition.

The incident took place Thursday morning in the Debutbank exchange No 24 at Ataturk Avenue in Narimanov district of Baku, APA reports.

Law-enforcement officials and top officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived at site.

Hasanov told APA correspondent that no casualties were during the armed robbery, but he didnâ€™t give details because of investigation.

APA correspondent said he saw bloodstain traces at site. Witnesses said there were injuries during the robbery.

Narimanov district police told APA that staff member of the currency exchange Tarlan Malikov, 21 was wounded during the robbery and taken to the Central Clinic Hospital.

Doctors told APA Malikov got stab injuries on head and face and his condition is satisfactory.
