Resident of the region, Sharafat Hidayat Ibadov, 33, beat his wife Jamala Najmaddin Ibadova, 27 and then hit on her head with a blunt tool for several times. Ibadova died at site as a result of heavy injuries.
Ibadov surrendered to police voluntarily. He said he killed his wife on the base of jealousy.
The prosecutor’s office of Ismayilli region launched criminal investigation under article 120.1 (deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code. The fact is under the investigation.
