Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Court of Grave Crimes ended the hearing on case of Mirjalal Nasrullayev, founder and owner of Gakh nut processing plant. APA reports that Shakar Mammadova presided over the hearing. The court announced judgment. According to the judgment, Nasrullayev has been sentenced to 9 years in jail, his property has been confiscated.
According to the indictment, Nasrullayev and other owner of the plant Novruz Huseynov received AZN 213,000 loan to make investment in the nut processing plant. Huseynov’s flat in Nizami Street of Baku was impawned. Nasrullayev embezzled the money in stead of investing in the plant.
Nasrullayev faced charges under article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code.
