The driver, who was reportedly beaten by the inspectors of the Roads Security Service of Transport Ministryâ€™s Azeryolservis OJSC, has been released, head of the committee for protecting the defendantâ€™s rights Vidadi Iskandarov told APA. The lawyer said Devechi region court held the next hearing on the case of driver Mehman Amirguliyev. Teymur Gurbanov presided over the hearing. The court investigation finished. Under the decision of the court, Amirguliyev got 3-month suspended sentence. He was released from the court room.

Mehman Amirguliyev faced charges under article 315.1. According to the indictment, Mehman Amirguliyev, who was carrying stones from Baku to Khachmaz on August 10, quarreled with the inspectors in Devechi region.
Inspector Vusal Samadov was beaten by the driver.
A passing driver filmed the incident on the mobile phone. The video of Amirguliyevâ€™s beating by the inspectors was broadcasted.
