Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Court of Grave Crimes held a preliminary hearing on the case of the four-men organized gang accused of smuggling a great deal of heroin from Iran to Azerbaijan. APA reports that Ramella Allahverdiyeva presided over the process. The court hearing has been scheduled for November 11.
The members of the gang – Kamran Shirinov, Alakbar Pirverdiyev, Seadet Jafarova and Nasimi Jaililov were detained by the National Security Ministry officers while smuggling narcotic drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan in July. They faced charges under articles 206.3.2, 234.4.2 and 234.4.3 of the Criminal Code.
