Court rejects suit filed by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC against State Committee for Refugees and IDPs

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. The suit of Azerbaijan Railways Closed Joint Stock Company against the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs was rejected, Baku Local Economic Court #1 told APA.

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC had sued the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs. According to the suit, a group of people, who were displaced as a result of Armeniaâ€™s aggression against Azerbaijan, settled in the hostel located in the territory of Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC paid for the gas used by the IDPs settled in the hostel, then the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs transferred the money to the account of Azerbaijan Railways. Later, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs refused to pay AZN 30,617 and Azerbaijan Railways CJSC appealed to court.

Baku Local Economic Court #1, which investigated the case, passed a decision to reject the suit, as Azerbaijan Railways CJSC had no well-grounded proofs and did not submit the list of the IDPs settled in the hostel.
