Secondary school # 38 in Sumgait City hit by mass poisoning

According to him, 48 poisoned pupils have been released from the hospital after the medical examination. Alakbarov noted that the event took place in the afternoon. 5 and sixth form pupils saw that crackers distributed free 50 meters away from the school. Teachers, who saw the pupils eating the crackers, said the packets of crackers did not smell good and advised them not to eat it. However, 8 pupils felt bad after 10 minutes and nearly 50 poisoned pupils were immediately hospitalized. 48 poisoned pupils have been discharged from the hospital after the medical examination, but two of them are still in hospital. Vagif Alakbarov said the law-enforcement bodies were investigating the fact of mass poisoning. According to him, â€œMade in Ukraineâ€ was written on the packets of crackers distributed free by unknown people. Deputy Procurator of Sumgait City Kamran Mahmudov told APA that Sumgait Prosecutorâ€™s Office and Police Office had established a joint investigation group in this regard.
