Police killed person, who showed armed resistance, fled and later committed murder in Azerbaijanâ€™s Aghdash region - <font color=red>UPDATED </font>

It was reported that wanted resident of Kotalan village Ruzman Shamil Huseynov was hiding near the village yesterday. The region police officers and soldiers of the Interior Troops immediately arrived at the site. Huseynov showed armed resistance to the police again. As Kotalan village is located on the bank of the Kur river and surrounded by the forest, helicopters were involved in the operation. It became known that Ruzman Huseynov was hiding in the area covered with reed and the area was surrounded.

Ruzman Huseynov resisted till 5 and was killed by the police.

His body is being kept in Aghdash forensic medical examination institution.

Ruzman Husyenov, 52, accused of robbery, showed armed resistance to the policemen, who came to detain him on October 18. Additional forces were involved in the operation. Ruzman Huseynov threw a grenade. Four hours later soldiers of Interior troops were called from Baku.

Ruzman Huseynovâ€™s house was surrounded for six hours, but he fled through a secret exit.
In the evening at 22.00 Huseynov went to the house of Seyfanov Bakhshali Siyas, 38, former representative of the village executive power. Huseynov said to Seyfanov â€œYou denounced me to the policeâ€ and killed him. Huseynov also wounded Ahmadov Famil Gurban, 37, and escaped. Ahmadov was taken to Aghdash central hospital.

Aghdash prosecutorâ€™s office had launched criminal case on articles 29, 120.2.3, 29, 120.2.4, 29, 120.2.7, 120.2.10 and 228 of the Criminal Code. Later, Department for Investigating Grave Crimes of the General Prosecutorâ€™s Office was commissioned to investigate the criminal case.
