17 221 crimes committed in Azerbaijan in past nine months

Baku – APA. 17 221 crimes were committed in Azerbaijan over the past nine months, the State Statistics Committee told APA. 67.6 percent of crimes were cleaned as a result of investigative operational measures. 12.4 percent of the cleaned crimes were committed by previously convicted people, 10.6 percent were committed by groups of criminals, 4.2 percent – by drinking people, 2.2 percent – by children at age of 14-17 or with their participation. 11133 of 14060 detained lawbreakers were brought to justice. 82.9 percent of lawbreakers were the people with working ability, but not working or studying anywhere, 13.8 percent were women, 9.2 percent – previously convicted and 2.3 percent – age of 14-17.
