Baku – APA. The Court of Grave Crime held last hearing on the case of resident of Agstafa region Samad Ahmadov, who was accused in a lying bomb report to police. According to APA, Judge Amir Bayramov presided over the process where Ahmadov was convicted for two years of imprisonment under article 216 (terror threat) of the Penal Code of Azerbaijan.
The public prosecutor demanded six years of imprisonment for him.
Ahmadov called 102 service of the Interior Ministry and reported about bomb installation at the bank and then switched off his phone. His report was not confirmed during the investigation. Ahmadov was identified and detained.
